I have always been fascinated by the way a tree's annual growth rings capture and measure time. I remember seeing large trunk sections in a museum as a kid, and was thrilled with the events marked along the timeline... Columbus discovering North America...Confederation...
It is both surreal and natural that the inlaid section is used as a clock face to measure time.
This clock is our MEDIUM size 14" tall, 6" wide, and about 3/4" +- thick.
It can both hang on the wall, and stand on a surface with the included leg.
Like the trees used to make them, each piece is one of a kind, making it an extra special gift for a wedding or anniversary (traditionally, wood is given on year five).
It employs a quartz continuous sweep movement, which means there is no annoying ticking noise.
