Fuck Earring 1" Aluminum Washer with Hammered Brass Disc

Fuck Earring 1" Aluminium Washer and Hammered Brass Disc with sterling silver ear wires. These fun earrings are intended to be subtle. 1/16th high letters are used to hand stamp ‘FUCK’ into the 1/2" hammered brass disc. Because the large washer is aluminum the pieces are light weight.

So small, others need to be almost into your personal space to see it; in any case, you know and can enjoy the feeling; after all, it is a powerful word. When others eventually notice it usually inspires a delightfully shocked giggle. 

 

It is my intention to be sustainable, and eco-friendly. Conscious of the origins and waste with the materials and methods I use throughout my process. 

I have a route of recyclers in my region that I visit to purchase scrap roofing, electrical copper, and brass. It is typically in very rough condition when I get it. I cut it to size and then very laboriously clean, polish, and hammer it if needed.
